What is the lottery application window?

How are the dates for the lottery application window chosen?
The lottery application window falls two weeks before spring recess each school year. The public lottery is held the third Monday after spring recess each year.

How does the lottery work?
The public lottery for all SLVUSD Charter Programs needing a lottery will be held on the same day.
- After all applications are received the Charter Office will place students with preferences automatically.
- All remaining seats will be selected through random public drawings.
- Each program will conduct separate drawings.
