procrastinating. Be sure to take the "Study Skills Checklist" to find out
where you need to improve.

This site from Virginia Tech has time scheduling suggestions, how to concentrate, how to take notes, how to read a difficult book, tips on improving reading speed, setting priorities, and strategies to use with difficult test questions.

skills survey, information about time management, memorization, learning
styles, and study techniques.
The Charter Career Center is “Under Construction” and will be ready for students to drop by in a couple of weeks.
Coast Redwood High School 2011 Graduation
Parents and in-coming seniors will meet in September to assist in coordinating the class of 2011 graduation. SLVUSD Charter School holds a separate and individualized graduation honoring each student, for his or her achievements, and awards a California high school diploma. Coast Redwood graduates do not participate in the comprehensive high school (SLVHS) ceremony.
College Acceptance
Each year many of our charter school graduates are accepted into University of California (UC) and State Universities as well as private universities in and out of California. Whether accepted on academic merit or athletic scholarship these colleges include: University Santa Cruz, San Jose State University, University North Carolina Greensboro, Eastern Oregon University, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Concordia University Irvine, and Marlboro College in Vermont. Our students also enjoy the flexibility, while in high school, concurrent enrollment at Cabrillo College, West Valley College, and/or DeAnza College, enabling them to transfer to a 4-year college ahead of their peers. Please consult with your teacher regarding the application process, our college prep personalized course of study, as well as visiting our new Career Center regarding SAT/ACT registration, and scholarship opportunities.
